We catch up with our favourite creative, Ming Nomchong to talk all things work, surf & ofcourse - Summer..
Describe yourself in three words..
Tropical, Punny Gal.
What inspires you?
Nostalgia.
Who do you most admire?
Independent Women.
Describe your work in three words..
Soft, feminine, free.
Your most memorable shoot?
Ojai, California in 2017. We broke into a commune up in the hills at sunset. We let off smoke flares and had our model half-naked running through golden fields, only to be kicked out, being accused of trying to start a fire.
Exciting plans for 2019?
I'm manifesting a whole lot of tropical shoot trips.
We also know that you love to surf, where are you favourite Byron spots?
I love Belongil on a high-tide and Wategos. They're my fave spots to surf.
Natural or goofy?
Goofy, just like me.
One piece or two?
I'm into our new Sea Bones high-cut high neck surf suit, so that's a one piece I guess!
Favourite holiday destination..
Fiji.
And lastly, a summer memory you will never forget..
Sitting under a Pandanus grove with my lover at the end of Angourie back beach, watching the glassy water turn silver and pink as the sun set. It was a pretty magical Summer memory.
